The hike was brutal, so steep you thought you would never get to the top, but now that you are at the top taking in the turqouise waters of Wedgemount Lake and marvelling at the ancient, icy folds of the Wedgemount Glacier you realize the scramble was totally worth the view. More hikes in Garibaldi Provincial Park including Wedge Mountain, Mount Cook, Mount Weart, Mount Moe, Mount James Turner, Mount Currie, Weart Glacier, Armchair Glacier, Mystery Glacier and the Needles and Chaos Glacier can all be accessed from this point.
